Our in house taxidermy means less worry about transporting and preserving your animal on the trip home. Pony Creek guides will properly skin your game in the field, freeze it at camp, then salt it and prepare it for mount according to your specifications.

 

The quality of the finished mount is in the detail. Our chief taxidermist, Jack Kummet has been doing taxidermy work for 10 years. As an outfitter and guide, he’s got a well trained eye that helps bring realistic detail that can make or break a mount, In fact, many area outfitters send their clients to Jack, because of his competitive pricing, quality work, trained eye and quick turnaround—usually 6 months or less. As an added benefit, Pony Creek Outfitters will ship your mount anywhere, or even deliver it to your area if they’re booked at a sports show near you.
